Hasini's life (2)

(Hasini's father name is Jagapathi Rao, and her mother name is Chandni.)

After Hasini's mother resigned from her job, life became even harder for them.

Seeing his son's behaviour, Hasini's grandfather from her father's side finally stepped forward and said,

"I'll take care of the expenses. Please don't file a police complaint against him. I know my son is wrong."

But money could never heal the damage already done.

From childhood itself, Hasini grew up watching violence every single day. Nights were filled with screaming, crying, broken objects, and fear. Slowly, she stopped expecting love from her father. Sometimes he behaved normally, but most of the time, she heard insults directed at her mother and even towards her mother's family.

Those things deeply affected her mind.

Fear slowly turned into panic.

Panic slowly turned into trauma.

At fifteen, Hasini had already become emotionally exhausted. She cried silently when nobody watched. And eventually, she found a dangerous way to release her pain.

She started hurting herself.

Whenever emotions became unbearable, she cut her wrist and watched the blood slowly come out. Strangely, that pain calmed her heart. After crying endlessly, seeing the blood made her feel empty... peaceful... silent.

That became her escape from reality.

But the truth about her family was even darker than she imagined.

Hasini had never seen her maternal grandparents properly during childhood. She didn't even know their faces clearly. The reason behind it was the wall her father created between her mother and her grandparents after marriage.

The truth was - Hasini's parents' marriage happened suddenly.

Her father secretly married Chandani and brought her home without informing his own parents beforehand. His family was shocked, but eventually accepted the marriage. However, from the beginning itself, Chandani faced insults inside that house.

And only two days after marriage, her husband showed his true colours.

He came home drunk.

He shouted.

He abused her.

At that time, Chandani's parents were still young and helpless. They had no idea what their daughter was truly suffering after marriage. Meanwhile, Hasini's father slowly destroyed everything in his own life too.

Because of alcohol, affairs, and irresponsible behaviour, he lost his company, his reputation, and his stability. Even after marriage, he became attached to another woman from his workplace and wasted money blindly on that relationship.

Still, he never showed affection towards his wife or children.

Even while Chandani was pregnant, he physically abused her mercilessly. Kicking, beating, making her bleed - none of it stopped him. Yet outside the house, he behaved as though everything was normal. Sometimes he even travelled happily with his mistress while his own family suffered silently at home.

Jagapathi Rao secretly married Chandni and suddenly brought her home without informing his family beforehand. At that time, only Chandni's parents arranged and supported the marriage, believing all the lies Jagapathi Rao told about himself, his habits, and his life. They trusted him completely and accepted the marriage for their daughter's happiness, without knowing the truth that would later destroy Chandni's life.

After marriage, he slowly separated Chandani completely from her parents. Calls stopped. Visits stopped. Communication ended. Years passed without Chandani even knowing whether her own parents were alive or dead.

Hasini grew up without grandparents, without family warmth, and without emotional safety.

Only after many years, when Hasini became older, she secretly helped her mother reconnect with her parents again. Quietly, without informing her father, she contacted them and reunited Chandani with her mother and father after years of separation.

Her father eventually came to know about it.

But by then, things had changed.

This time, Hasini and her family were no longer silent.

"If you interfere again, we'll call the police," they warned him directly. "You have no right to separate a daughter from her parents."

For once, he stayed quiet.

Not because he changed.

But because he finally realized

they were no longer scared of him like before.
